چکیده

This study investigated the biological activities and phytochemical screening of Boswellia dalzielii root ethanol extract. Standard procures were used to evaluate phytochemicals antioxidant capacity, antipyretic activity in baker’s yeast-induced pyrexia mice, analgesic property (hotplate acetic acid-induced mice), acute anti–inflammation (carrageenan-induce rats) chronic arthritis (formalin–induced on The results revealed presence phenol, ascorbic acid, flavonoids, alkaloids, cardiac glycoside, tannin, saponin. extract had a significant reduction body temperature graded doses 100 mg/kg paracetamol at 60 minutes when compared with control, but 400 was more effective (p<0.01). Antinociceptive Activities of the Methanolic Extract of the Stem Bark of Boswellia dalzielii Hutch. (Burseraceae) in Rats Are NO/cGMP/ATP-Sensitive-K+ Channel Activation Dependent

Boswellia dalzielii (B. dalzielii) is traditionally used in the treatment of rheumatism, pain, and inflammation. The present investigation evaluates the property and possible mechanism of action of the methanolic extract of B. dalzielii (BDME) on inflammatory and neuropathic pain models. Effects of BDME (250 and 500 mg/kg), orally administered, were verified in mechanical hypernociception induc...

Antinociceptive and Anti-Inflammatory Activities of the Ethanol Extract of Annona muricata L. Leaves in Animal Models

Antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory activities of the ethanol extract from Annona muricata L. leaves were investigated in animal models. The extract delivered per oral route (p.o.) reduced the number of abdominal contortions by 14.42% (at a dose of 200 mg/kg) and 41.41% (400 mg/kg). Doses of 200 and 400 mg/kg (p.o) inhibited both phases of the time paw licking: first phase (23.67% and 45.02%)...
